Shards of worlds

As a bonus, another take on the bitsy "temporary" jam - enjoy a stroll across tiny worlds you'll never see again.

Made with bitsy by adam le doux, and a custom hack for random generation.

Ctrl+R to start again. There is no gameplay.

The original idea - but it would require more time to flesh it out, way too many people playing it and also would be generally inconvenient - was to add deterministic connections between the rooms. The game would be removed from itch.io after some time, and then the only thing left would be the collaborative map all players would have made while they could. Consider...

(..Not that I would have submitted that idea to the jam anyway, I prefer my first real bitsy project to actually be made with standard bitsy instead of immediately hacking everything haha. But the experimentation was fun!)

But anyway since that's not exactly possible at the moment just enjoy this different kind of temporariness! And if you feel like capturing memories, feel free to share screenshots of your favorite worlds :>
